Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Famplify, a business registered in Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"), for your use of the Famplify app and website ("Famplify"). By creating an account or using Famplify, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Your account
- You need an account to use Famplify. Keep your password private; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent's or guardian's permission. A parent or guardian who sets up Famplify for a family is responsible for the children's profiles and logins they create.
- Give accurate information and keep your email address up to date so you can sign in and hear from us.
Family spaces
Each family has one shared space. The family's admin can invite and remove members and change family settings. What members add to the family space is visible to the family as described in the Privacy Policy. Only invite people you trust with your family's information.
Your content
You own what you and your family add to Famplify: events, lists, photos, files and everything else. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run Famplify for you and your family, including sending it to Zoey's AI provider when you use Zoey. You're responsible for having the right to share what you upload, including photos of other people.
Zoey
Zoey is an AI assistant. She can misunderstand a request or get details wrong, so she shows a draft for you to check before anything is saved, unless you turn on auto-accept. Always check important details yourself. Zoey isn't a substitute for professional advice, and Famplify isn't an emergency or medical service: don't rely on it for urgent, medical or safety decisions, including about allergies or medications.
Acceptable use
Don't use Famplify to break the law, harm or harass anyone, upload content you have no right to share, try to get into another family's information, interfere with the service, or misuse Zoey to produce harmful content. We may suspend accounts that do.
Plans and payments
Famplify is free to use while it's in early access. If we offer paid plans, the price and what's included will be shown before you buy, and purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow their billing and refund rules.
Changes and availability
We're improving Famplify all the time, so features may change. We aim to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable, such as original photos.
Ending your account
You can stop using Famplify and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Disclaimers and liability
Famplify is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed appointment or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, or CAD $50 if you haven't paid anything. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Famplify after that means you accept the new terms.
